we are worth fighting for

Chigozie has spent his entire life fighting for working families–as a lawyer and advocate for social and economic justice, a member of his neighborhood association, and as Assistant Commissioner for the NJ Department of Community Affairs. In the State Assembly, he will wage and win four fights to help New Jersey Families get ahead and stay ahead.

the issues

Making Housing Affordable for Working Families

Chigozie believes that every family deserves access to safe, quality, and affordable housing. In the State Assembly, he will boost affordable housing investments, expand tenant protections, and support community ownership models that build wealth and prevent displacement.

Protecting & Investing in Our Future

The future of New Jersey depends on how we prepare the next generation and protect our planet. As a proud public school graduate and environmental justice leader, Chigozie is committed to ensuring every child has access to high quality education and we take bold climate action to safeguard our future.

Reimagining Public Safety

Our communities are only as safe as our most vulnerable residents. In the State Assembly, Chigozie will fight for funding for social services and community development in the most challenging neighborhoods, while combating violence by investing in public safety and treating it as a public health issue.

Investing in Reliable Transportation & Infrastructure

Accessible, affordable, and reliable transportation and infrastructure are key to a thriving and sustainable New Jersey. In the State Assembly, Chigozie will prioritize investments in public transportation, water, energy, and other infrastructure to ensure they are equitable, effective, and efficient.
